Real estate trio creates northern heavyweight
Eiendomsselskapet Ranheim
One of Northern Norway’s Largest Real Estate Transactions
MOMEK Invest, together with the real estate company Ranheim and SLR Holding, is establishing a new and powerful real estate company – named Lokal AS. We are consolidating 16 commercial properties with a total value of NOK 750 million into Lokal AS. This is one of the largest real estate transactions in Northern Norway in recent times.
Ownership and Strategic Positioning
MOMEK Invest and Ranheim will each own approximately 46%, while SLR will own about 8%. In addition to contributing properties, MOMEK Invest will also provide capital to match
Ranheim’s ownership share. For MOMEK Invest, this marks a significant new step, making us a major player in the real estate market and giving us even more strength to develop the region and the community we live in.
Robust Long-Term Initiative
This is the largest transaction since the founding of MOMEK Invest, and we have achieved far more than expected in real estate in a short time. With Lokal, we are building a robust and long-term initiative together with strong partners. The total annual revenue of Lokal
AS is expected to be around NOK 85 million. Profitability is expected to be stable and solid, and we aim to build significant value in the years to come.
Included Properties
Properties from MOMEK Invest included in Lokal AS are Temporary Space Mo i Rana, Mosjøen Næringseiendom, and Villaveien Melbu. All other companies owned b
y MOMEK Invest – including development properties, MOMEK Robotics, and the product portfolio – will retain the same ownership and continue to operate as before.
Achnowlegements
The three players emphasize that the transaction is not just about property, but about a shared commitment to the region’s development. The new company aims to be an active and professional force in an area characterized by growth and strategic initiatives.
– “We have great faith in Mo i Rana as a region. There is a lot happening here: a new international airport, tourism investments, a new deep-water quay, and major industrial growth within sustainable value chains. In addition, Mo i Rana could become an important industrial partner for the defense sector. This is a region on the move, and we want to be the natural partner for anyone looking to invest here,” says Stig Lønnum, CEO of SLR Holding.
– “With this establishment, we want to create more than just joint property management. We aim to contribute to lasting value creation and growth in one of Norway’s most exciting industrial and development areas,” says Espen Haaland, who will serve as chairman of the new company.
– “This is a very exciting opportunity for us. We want to help develop the region, and this gives us the chance to take a bigger and more active step into the property market. It allows us to build something long-term and robust together. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my colleagues Ronny Østrem Pedersen and Rolf Einar Solheim-Jensen for their fantastic work on this case over the past few months, and also extend a big thank you to Gøran Nerdal and Wiggo Dalmo for their significant contributions in making this investment a reality,” says Bjørn Audun Risøy, CEO of MOMEK Invest.
